Rierson Fitness
Rierson Fitness, LLC opened in 2012 with the goal of providing personalized health and wellness coaching, nutrition counseling, and fitness training to clients throughout the Corridor.
We have successfully helped a diverse range of clients achieve their fitness goals by taking a unique approach to personal training.
By taking a truly holistic look at a person’s health, our trainers help clients set realistic milestones, reach their goals, and maintain them. Increasing strength gives clients the power they need to take on new challenges—both inside and outside of the gym.
With a strong and balanced physical foundation, confidence grows in all aspects of a person’s life.
Confidence is the ultimate goal Rierson Fitness hopes clients achieve as they take ownership of their health by increasing strength and endurance and making proper nutritional choices.

The company’s commitment to supporting healthy lifestyles is based on three core principles: health, strength, and confidence, ensuring clients achieve results that improve every aspect of their lives.
Rierson Fitness operates a no-membership, train-by-appointment facility in the Warehouse on Third building (600 3rd Street) in downtown Cedar Rapids. This private training space allows our team to deliver more focused, one-on-one coaching while still offering the latest equipment and amenities.

Jeff Rierson
OWNER & PERSONAL TRAINER
Jeff Rierson founded Rierson Fitness LLC and has 20 years of experience in fitness management and personal training. He specializes in helping clients looking to make long-term healthy lifestyle changes. Rierson graduated from Wartburg College with a bachelor’s degree in Fitness Management and wrestled collegiately.
Nathan (Nate) Specht
PERSONAL TRAINER
Nate Specht has 18 years of experience in personal training. He specializes in empowering general population clients through strength training and athletes looking to enhance performance. Specht graduated from Wartburg College with a bachelor’s degree in Fitness Management and wrestled collegiately.
Kyle Petersen
PERSONAL TRAINER
Kyle Petersen has 17 years of experience in personal training. He has successfully worked with a variety of clients to lose weight, get stronger, and reach their fitness goals. He also specializes in training athletes and those looking to enhance performance. A graduate of Wartburg College, Petersen has a bachelor’s degree in Biology and played collegiate baseball.
